About you

The Senior Manager, GTM Revenue Analytics plays a crucial role in leading and empowering the Customer Success and Sales teams to scale and enhance revenue growth for Udemy. This position involves designing, managing, and tracking non-product experiences across the entire lifecycle, driving visibility, transparency, and accountability for revenue growth within the GTM Ops function.

The role will report directly to the Senior Director of Udemy Business Analytics.

About this role
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of 4-5 professionals, providing strategic direction and guidance to support the GTM Ops function.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and harmonization of processes, workflows, and technology within Udemy for Business.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Develop, implement, and optimize sales processes, workflows, and data management to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Establish and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sales development and customer success, supporting the rhythm of the business through regular reporting.
  • Revenue Growth:
    • Monitor the sales pipeline from lead to conversion, tracking and analyzing relevant metrics to provide actionable insights.
    • Conduct monthly and quarterly analysis of customer retention across all segments, tracking and reporting on ARR, ACV, and customer counts by industry segment.
  • Analytical Support and Proactive Insights:
    • Evaluate business performance, diagnose root causes, and provide proactive data-driven insights to stakeholders in the Sales and Customer Success Ops teams.
    • Make recommendations to improve business partners' productivity and performance, actively reviewing and identifying leading and lagging indicators.
What you'll be doing
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Act as a trusted thought partner to a range of cross-functional stakeholders across Udemy, fostering collaboration and synergy.
    • Work closely with the UFB Revenue Ops team to ensure harmonization of processes, workflows, and technology between the new ventures team and Udemy for Business.
  • Analytical/Data Science Mindset and Leadership:
    • Coaching team through best practices of dataset creation, pipelining, and standardization to build up a base layer of quality datasets to build analyses off of.
    • Providing thought leadership & hands on support for our team's approach to dashboarding and business intelligence (built in Tableau).
    • Implementing data science and statistical tactics such as regression, time series modeling, and other predictive modeling to forecast key business metrics and build alerting to spot areas of risk early.
What you'll have
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Tech-curious mindset with a proven ability to seek creative solutions using process and technology.
  • 6-10+ years of relevant sales/business operations experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of SaaS business models and expertise in using Salesforce.com.
  • Mastery over SQL in Redshift and S3 environments, as well as experience with statistical analysis and automation with Python.
  • Familiarity with data pipelining via tools like DBT and Airflow.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts, such as experimentation, regression, time-series modeling, and other predictive modeling.
  • Command over Business Intelligence tools (such as Tableau) and a strong point of view on best practices for dashboarding
  • Excellent command of Excel, including lookups, pivots, formulas, and a high degree of confidence in handling and analyzing large datasets.
