Job Summary:

Under direct supervision perform point to point wiring for electrical control panels and pedestal boxes. Ability to work from wiring lists, engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Must have basic knowledge of standard wiring procedures which include proper wire routing, stripping, crimping of lugs, torque terminal blocks per specification & proper wire termination. Willing to work in a large wiring team, and/or individually as a self-starter. Speed, accuracy, aesthetics, cleanliness and diligence are aspects looked at when evaluating the wiring inside control panel cabinets.

Essential Functions:

• Utilize hand tools such as strippers, crimpers, cutters, torque drivers, basic production tool, standard crimpers, hand tools, and power tools such as drills to perform work
• Ability to strip and tin wires, crimp pins to wires and connect to housings, install hardware where needed is required
• Working with low, medium and high voltage equipment (up to 480 Volts)
• Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
• Read basic electrical / mechanical diagrams and instructions
• Ability to use measuring and wiring tools as required by the job
• Read, interpret, and understand wiring diagrams, prints, and verbal instructions
• Read and understand drawings, follow procedures, adapt to new processes
• Must possess the ability to perform any assembly task / duties
• Attention to detail
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate Degree is a plus
• 0-2 years related experience in a production, manufacturing, or electrical related field

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly schematics
• Familiarity with assembly tools and ability to read unit of measurements
• Good hand/ eye coordination
• Manual dexterity
• Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, and bend

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach

Work Environment:

• Work performed in production/ manufacturing environment

Pay offered will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location. We may pay more or less than the range based on the person's qualifications. In good faith we believe the range is what we will pay for this role at the time of the posting and may change in the future.
