Arjo'sField Repair Technicianprovides hands-on preventative maintenance and repair on Arjo's medical equipment. This position is based out of Arjo's Mesa Service Center but will involve very occasional travel (approx 20% overnight) to other Arjo locations...with some repair activity at Phoenix-area hospitals. All travel and training paid by Arjo.

The successful candidate will need to have a basic-to-intermediate understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and components, and a fundamental understanding of the tools and processes required to complete the work.

Day-to-Day Functions:

  • Provide preventative maintenance, repair services, installations, upgrades and in-servicing at Arjo's customer accounts.
  • Assesses and diagnose, estimate cost for, and completes repairs on customer-owned medical equipment.
  • Provide training and support for quality-related service activities, such as quality control (QC) checks, product transportation processes, aesthetic maintenance and product cleaning.
  • Complete all required training programs, meetings and seminars.
  • Follow all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements and regulatory agencies.
  • Work flexible hours and occasional weekends to meet business/customer needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree in an electrical or mechanical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Repair and maintenance experience with electrical and/or electromechanical equipment; experience with medical equipment preferred.
  • Repair or Maintenance Training and/or Certification preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds, able to push and pull 55 pounds.
