AIM OF THE POSITION

The incumbent will work closely with the commercial leadership of Agendia Inc. The marketing associate is responsible for the day-to-day administrative marketing activities within Agendia Inc. The marketing associate deals with sensitive sales and marketing materials requiring discretion and confidentiality as curial aspects of the work.


POSITION WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION

1. Reports to Sr. Director, Marketing

2. Cooperates with all departments across the organization

3. Participates in: Marketing meetings, Project meetings, Working groups

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide multi-faceted support to day-to-day marketing operations, such as media campaigns, promotions, and event planning and coordination.
    • Support social media and PR activities to include digital support (support website logistics).
    • Submission of purchase orders and invoices for approval and payment, as requested.
    • Support of patient advocacy activities including Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
    • Hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing logistics, including event production through booth scheduling and shipping, collateral coordination, and premium ordering.

o Support logistics for weekly internal marketing promotional review meetings.

* Tradeshow logistics

  • Organization of trade show logistics for both US and EU.
  • May staff trade show and promotional events as needed.
  • Booth scheduling and shipping of materials.

* Management of marketing and commercial fulfillment activities.

o Managing the Agendia Storefront.

o Managing of Agendia commercial resource site, ShowPad.

o Keep marketing materials up to date via MasterControl.

o Collateral coordination and premium ordering.

* Internal data logistics

o Gather and analyze consumer behavior data in web traffic and rankings.

o Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics, compile forecasting reports.

o Improve reach to customers through SEO campaigns.

  • Coordinate updates of marketing databases from directories, field contacts, tradeshow/campaign leads, customer service input, returned mail, or invalid email addresses (MailChimp and SalesForce).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

* Bachelor's in marketing or related field is required

Experience

  • Two years' experience as a marketing associate, marketing assistant or related position.
    • Experience within the healthcare/lab/medical device industry a plus.

* Significant experience with SEO/SEM campaigns and digital tools.

* Superior computer skills, including marketing technology applications.

* Hands-on experience with HubSpot and ZoomInfo.

* Experience in managing budgets and tracking of expenses.

* Experience with event coordination and planning.

Experience with tradeshows.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity in the following platforms or significant experience is a plus:
    • HubSpot
    • Mailchimp
    • ShowPad
    • MasterControl
    • Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
    • Wordpress and SEO

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA'S)

Specific Knowledge Required:

  • Excellent verbal, grammar, and writing skills with experience in copywriting and drafting marking content.
  • Knowledge and first-hand experience in planning and managing content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Experience with Google-based applications, Microsoft Office and Adobe design products.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, independent environment.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and a multi-tasker.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Office, including PowerPoint creation.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadline.
