JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project. Directs and supervises work of project administration, project superintendents, and skilled craft employees to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, general contractor, subcontractors, and unions.


Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • A working knowledge of electrical construction at a level normally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or construction management or related field leadership experience; and
  • 8 years' experience in Project Management, Estimating, or as a field Superintendent.
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction technology, equipment, methods, craft agreements, negotiations, engineering, scheduling, and estimating.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.
  • Requires strong project management skills, analytical, and negotiations skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present effectively to diverse and varied stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects on schedule.
  • Ability to successfully forecast and manage job cost.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail.
  • Must be proficient with PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Office programs, and Accubid.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews proposals, plans & specs, contract, schedule, and budgets to establish staffing and resource requirements.
  • Establishes project objectives, procedures, and standards in conjunction with the Superintendent and General Foreman to monitor and control all phases of construction to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Communicates with project team to outline the work plan, assign duties and responsibilities while providing technical advice and solutions to problems.
  • Serves as the primary client contact to coordinate the resolution of problems, identify solutions, monitor progress, and advise on project objectives.
  • Manages all financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest and maintain a strong client relationship.
  • Ensures and maintain compliance of OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Assists in the preparation of submittals, writing RFI's, and responding to client needs.
  • Provides direction to administrative staff, purchasing department and field leadership to ensure production goals are met.
  • Follows all ILB Electric processes and procedures while mentoring and managing others to do the same.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Compensation Range: $120k-$140k
  • Discretionary Bonus eligible
