As Snowflake's first Director of Performance Engagement and Enablement you'll create a human-centered performance ecosystem where employees are valued, engaged, and motivated to deliver their best work. In this exciting new role, you'll build a holistic talent strategy that includes:

  • Performance Management: Develop and implement a new performance management ecosystem to support Snowflake's strategic objectives. This includes enterprise-wide performance tooling decisions, OKR design, succession models, promotion processes, performance metrics, and performance evaluation standards.
  • Business Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor to both the HRBP function and business leaders across the company on the topics of performance assessment and behavior change.
  • Performance Analytics and Reporting: Partner with our Data/Analytics team to define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress toward organizational goals and objectives. You'll also collect, analyze, and report on performance data and trends to help the HRBP team identify areas for improvement and inform talent decision-making.
  • Employee Engagement Measurement and Action Planning Strategy: Support Snowflake's enterprise-wide employee engagement survey strategy with guidance on organizational psychology elements, performance trends, manager skills assessment, and productivity enablement.
  • Career Mobility: Create and implement a strategy to facilitate cross-functional career/job mobility across the company, providing opportunities for growth, advancement, and job exploration options for employees.
  • Partnering like a Pro: Build strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders that allow you to codesign on behalf of the business. Key partnerships will include HR Business Partners, the HR Technology team, Employee Communications, the HR Operations team, and various business leaders across Snowflake.
  • Employee Recognition: Partner with the employee communications and HR Tech teams to design and implement employee recognition programs that increase performance and growth efforts of employees.
  • Structural Inclusion: Build all talent processes with levers to enhance inclusion, mitigate bias, and drive a sense of belonging for all employees.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
  • 12 years of experience in employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development; 5 Years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Advanced cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and collaborate effectively at at all levels
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Well versed in data analysis and using data to make talent related decisions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), preferably Workday

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $189,000 - $282,400.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
