Position Summary:

Travere Therapeutics' global Investor Relations program focuses on building and maintaining effective two-way communication with institutional investors, analysts, and the general public to most effectively educate and update stakeholders on the company's initiatives and performance, as well as obtain critical feedback to help guide the company's strategic planning. The Manager, Investor Relations will collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Team, to continuously plan, develop, and implement best practices for our global investor relations program. This includes supporting the development of Travere's materials and messaging and being a point of contact for the investment community. Responsibilities:

  • Regularly analyze company stock and debt performance, valuation, peer activity, economic and sector updates, and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate in the production of press releases, scripts, and presentations to be used by senior leadership for engagement with institutional investors and analysts.
  • Review and analyze sell-side research and models to monitor changes in ratings/price targets/estimates, and comparisons of consensus estimates.
  • Establish and manage an investor relations calendar, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of investor conferences, events, roadshows, and other market engagements.
  • Manage the quarterly earnings process including logistics, consensus analysis, Q&A, and prep materials.
  • Conduct regular research on capital markets activity to aid management team in capital structure planning.
  • Prepare briefing materials for management for meetings and calls with investors and analysts.
  • Support the leadership and corporate development teams by providing updates on peer activity including news releases, earnings calls, and key sell-side research reports.
  • Support diligence efforts for potential merger, acquisition, or partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, R&D, and other departments to gather data for press releases, and other internal and external disclosures.
  • Analyze and monitor the company's shareholder base and create reports summarizing trends and shifts amongst our stockholders.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications team to manage the investor relations website ensuring that all disclosures, presentations, and company information are accurate and current.
  • Administer database to ensure meeting notes are complete for investor meetings and conference presentations.
  • Perform ad hoc shareholder targeting, market performance, and stock analyses.
  • Provide general project support for external initiatives, projects, and events.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or demonstrated related proficiency. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an IR, corporate finance, sell-side/buy-side role, preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Progress towards CFA designation a plus.

Additional Skills/Experience:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required, especially development of effective presentations for the investment community.
  • Skilled in reading and understanding SEC filings and financial statements.
  • Candidates should possess and exhibit strong interest in the financial markets, biotech/healthcare industry and current events.
  • Financial acumen and basic financial analysis skills required.
  • Proven collaborator with a strong ability to work effectively across functions and levels.
  • Ability to counsel and interface successfully with senior executives and communications peers.
  • Proactive, self-starter; able to work independently and in team environment.
  • Ability to maintain composure and situational awareness in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional teamwork environment.
  • Clear commitment to quality and attention to detail is necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically or internationally.
  • All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Compensation: Our competitive compensation package includes a combination of both cash compensation (base pay and short-term incentive) and long-term incentive compensation (company stock), designed to recognize, retain, and reward employees.

Target Base Pay Range:

$107,000.00 - $145,000.00
