About the Team

You will be part of the Inventory Planning and Finance team responsible for the achievement of our topline and bottom-line financial targets through analytics and expense management with our cross-functional partners. With our pivotal role in the company's operations, we enjoy high visibility and collaborate closely with leadership to steer the business.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting our retail locations, with a focus on optimizing store-level inventory and maximizing profitability.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Become a champion of Store Planning strategies by developing a thorough knowledge of store and tier performance through extensive analysis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (merchant, visual, stores) to drive sales growth and margin expansion across all store locations via a test and learn approach.
  • Create scalable tools, processes, and reporting and encourage sharing of best-practice to ensure consistency.
  • Provide special interface to key field partners to identify opportunities, address risks and concerns, and provide insights into key initiatives and strategies.
  • Develop financial acumen by:
    • Support the month-end close process, financial forecasting, and budgeting for our field organization through variance analysis, preparation of month-end accruals, and partnership with key stakeholders.
    • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including sales, margin, and operating expenses. Providing strategic insights, hypotheses, and conclusions based upon this analysis.

  • BA/BS degree in related field (Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics)
  • 3-4 years of finance or retail experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (Additional Data Analysis tools a plus)
  • Proven ability to objectively interpret data and extract actionable insights that drive the business
  • Maintain an entrepreneurial spirit amid a fast-paced, often changing environment.
  • Strong organization, time-management, and prioritization abilities. Able to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining focused and analytical.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to foster a positive working environment, encouraging feedback and innovation.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
