Responsibilities

This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S.

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy restful APIs in spring boot microservices environment using best practices and standards, such as security, scalability, performance, etc.
  • Deploy and manage microservices on Amazon EKS or similar infrastructure.
  • Integrate enterprise applications, develop automated workflows using Dell Boomi or similar tools and ensure data quality and consistency across different systems
  • Experience in any messaging middleware like ActiveMQ.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to understand the requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in the development and production environments, using various tools and techniques.
  • Document and maintain the code and API specifications, using appropriate tools and formats.
  • Follow the agile methodology and participate in the scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, etc.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the software industry and apply them to improve the existing solutions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong Java skills, including Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in automating workflows and enterprise Integrations using Dell Boomi or similar middleware tools.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and documentation.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and ESBs.
  • Familiarity with Amazon EKS or similar Kubernetes platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for staying updated with industry trends and technologies.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $107,089 - $122,000.00 annually and will be based on a number of additional factors, including skills, experience, and education.
