Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.00

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Under direct supervision, performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes. Requires use of a few simple hand tools. Ensure that the work is being produced in the most efficient manner, while meeting the customer requirements. Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and less than one year of training and/or experience. Reports to Assembly Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Marking parts; electro etch, dot peen, laser etch.
• Assemble simple and complex assemblies.
• Set up machines used in the department.
• Visual inspection of parts.
• Package parts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE, CAPABILITIES AND SUCCESS FACTORS

• Manufacturing / Assembly experience a plus.
• Team Player
• Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
• Have good communication skills and able to follow written/verbal instructions
• Lift 15-20 pounds
• Be able to sit or stand for 1-2 hour periods
• Ability to communicate with both employees and management in a positive manner
