We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented individual to join our team as an Electrical Engineer with 7 or more years of engineering. Candidate will apply engineering skills to a variety of diverse and challenging projects. Qualified candidates will have experience in engineering projects with the ability to plan, organize, and direct project activities. The ideal candidate should have a desire to work and grow as a team player within a multi-discipline engineering firm.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Approximate Base Salary - $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 based on experience.
  • Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
  • Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based oncompany/team/personal performance.
  • Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change).
  • 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Prepare design tasks assigned by department manager.
  • Perform complete construction documents, including drawings, power system studies, and specifications.
  • Perform the execution of designs, including medium and low voltage AC, DC, single line diagrams, electrical plans, and equipment layout.
  • Perform the execution of both interior and exterior lighting design and calculate footcandle to ensure lighting design meets IESNA requirements.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and provide engineering support through design and construction phases including responding to AHJ comments, shop drawing review, and responding to RFI's.
  • Review of deliverables, including QA/QC through design and construction.
  • Serve as a technical resource to internal staff.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
  • Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
  • Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
Qualifications
  • BS in Electrical Power engineering or related field
  • PE license in Electrical Engineering required (licensed for at least 2 years preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years experience in electrical design
    • Minimum 4 years of AEC consulting electrical engineering experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Title-24 Part 6 California Energy Conservation Code
  • Excellent leadership, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Must have experience in estimating and negotiating contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with REVIT
  • Experience with multi-family, commercial, institutional, and higher education projects
  • Experience with OSHPD/HCAi
  • Experience with SKM and/or ETAP programs
  • Experience with PVsyst software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Adobe/Bluebeam software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and people skills.

Expected Salary Range:$95,000.00 - $120,000.00.
