Job Description
Global Furniture Group, a leader in the workplace, education, healthcare + hospitality furniture industry has an immediate career opportunity at our Los Angeles, CA distribution center. Order Entry Representatives are professionals who assist clients with order details in an accurate and timely manner. Ideal Order Entry Representatives are well organized and detail-oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter NEW Purchase Orders (Global, OTG, 3rd Party Vendors, etc.)
  • Process XML & EDI Orders.
  • Forward Evolve, E&I, and GSA Purchase Orders to the appropriate team at corporate.
  • Enter Parts-Express (w/cost.)
  • Send QA Requests to Customer Care (in accordance with local GM's thresholds.)
  • Initiate Addendum Process.
  • Conduct final QA of Orders prior to release.
  • Release Orders into Production.
  • Cancel/Revise PO prior to release (on hold / QA Check.)
  • Correspond with Secondary Review Team (credit hold.)
  • Correspond with Proforma Team (CIA / deposit.)
  • File Documents in accordance with local guidance.
  • Additional Duties As Assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with Orders and customer servicing especially via phone and email.
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities dynamically to meet deadlines and changing goals.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to details, ensuring orders and deliveries are successful and any questions are handled properly.

Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military equivalent.
