Daybreak Health () is creating a world where every young person benefits from mental health support. We provide evidence-based virtual and in-person therapy to children and youth ages 6-19. We partner with public school districts and health insurance companies to provide free, accessible mental health care to all families - we believe that every child should have access to mental health support as a fundamental part of their education.

We're a YC-backed company that raised its Seed from Maven Ventures, Series A from Lightspeed Ventures and just announced our Series B led by Union Square Ventures. The Sales Development Representative Role

The Sales Development Representative is a full-time role with the primary goal of working alongside Daybreak's sales team to do cold outreach, prospect, and qualify school district leads. You'll become an expert in Daybreak's services, outreach strategies, and overcoming objections. You'll also participate in call power hours and call reviews for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound initiatives
  • Conduct account-based research to personalize outreach
  • Contact potential prospects through phone calls and emails
  • Identify prospects' needs and qualify current and future fit with our services
  • Educate and warm up prospects leading to hand-off to an Account Executive
  • Set up meetings between prospective customers and Account Executive
  • Report to Account Executive and Sales Leadership on sales results
  • Help build our playbook for outbound prospecting
Requirements
  • Demonstrated interest in education, mental health, or other related fields
  • Excited about growing a career in Sales or Marketing
  • Unshakeable resilience and positivity!
  • Genuine belief that good research/preparation, call notes, and sales ops hygiene matters!
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in education, technology, and/or the mental health space
  • Work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, Recruiter, or similar sales-adjacent role
  • Hands-on experience with cold outreach or prospecting (cold calling and cold emailing)
  • Experience working with Salesforce and sales engagement platforms (e.g. Outreach, Salesloft)
