Position Details

The Lead Registered Nurse's primary responsibility is to monitor the provision of health care services in the facility to ensure that the level of care provided is in accordance with regulation, statute, and individual professional standards.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Candidates with High School Diploma and Current license as a California Registered Nurse
  • Prefer two years' experience in a community health service, long-term care and/or serving developmentally disabled or a related population.
  • A thorough knowledge of professional nursing principles, practices and methods; good working knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in patient assessment, care plan development and related admission and discharge activities.
  • Ability to effectively contribute expertise in interdisciplinary program model and effectively establish and teach relevant nursing curriculum in direct contact staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize time and set priorities
