Compensation Range:

$46.10 - $60.37 / Hour

Department:

763000 Radiology - Diagnostic

Expectations:

Under limited supervision is able to perform radiographs for medical diagnosis. Involves positioning patients and adjusting equipment for proper exposure and for digital image processing. Records pertinent information pertaining to the production of the radiograph/scan. This position may require flexibility of hours.

EDUCATION:
Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum one year experience as a Radiology Technologist working in the area to be assigned (i.e. Emergency/Portable/Surgery and Fluoroscopy cases).

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Required:
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire / transfer
Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) issued by California Department of Public Health (CDPH) upon hire / transfer
Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Fluoroscopy Permit issued by California Department of Public Health (CDPH) within six (6) months of hire / transfer
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association upon hire / transfer

Preferred:
Current Venipuncture Certification issued by California Society of Radiologic Technologists (CSRT)

SKILLS:
1. Knowledge of computers, anatomy, physiology, radiographic equipment, safety Hazards common to Radiology equipment used.
