Minimum Qualifications Summary
Certification & Education
  • High school education required
  • Bachelor degree preferred
Experience Required
  • The Videographer shall have a minimum of 3 years of industry experience performing the duties described below in the private or public sector.
  • Proven experience with a strong portfolio of past work available for review. Required skills include:
    • Proficiency in video editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve.
    • Knowledge of Canon DSLR video camera operation, lighting techniques, and portable audio recording in the field and in studio for video production and podcast production.
Job Objective
NAVSPECWARCEN PAO requires a contracted Digital Content Team (DCT) to create and manage engaging multi-channel digital content in order to provide awareness, information and assistance to a demographically diverse population in the digital public domain, as well as US Navy forces worldwide.
Responsibilities
  • Shoot, edit, and produce at least three (3) pieces of original video/graphic content for weekly social media distribution. Add graphics and special effects to videos as needed. Government shall provide equipment and hardware/software support.
  • Co-manage Youtube channel with Digital Marketing Specialist on a weekly basis to ensure optimal video upload, presentation, and quality of visitor experience.
  • Assist PAO staff with audio production of podcast episodes.
Education & Certification
  • High school education required
  • Bachelor degree preferred
Work Location
Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, Ca. Some duties will occur offsite.
