We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead, Revenue Systems to join our team. This is a hybrid position and will be based in our Santa Clarita office. In this role you'll manage multiple, multi-functional collaborative projects, while documenting findings, communicating project status updates to upper management, and facilitating resolution or mitigation plans. Actively engage with cross-functional project teams to coordinate design, testing, and implementation. Responsible for documenting policy and procedures and providing support and training to operations staff who administer the financial activities onboard the ship. Continuously analyze existing business processes. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple, multi-functional collaborative workflows/systems (onboard and shoreside), and actively engage with project teams to coordinate design, testing, and implementation of projects with financial impact.
  • Provides recommendations for improvement and actively participates in the design and implementation for accurate financial reporting and processes to address operational needs
  • Scope, risk, and issue management, including documenting, communicating project status updates and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans
  • Document policy and procedures and provide support and training to operations staff who administer the financial activities onboard the ship.
  • Sox & Internal Controls
  • Design and implement onboard and Shoreside department related systems and processes to address operational needs, accurate financial record, and to enhance controls.
  • Provide support and training to operations staff who administer the financial activities onboard the ships.
  • Maintain all project artifacts. Identify, deliver and document organizational, application and human workflows that contribute to policy and procedure updates throughout each project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, related field, equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience in a Finance related role
  • Project management experience
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Understanding of internal controls (and Sarbanes Oxley as applicable)
  • Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems
  • PMP certification
  • Knowledge of Oracle

This is a hybrid role, based in our Santa Clarita, CA office. Candidates must be driving distance and comfortable going into the office 3 days per week.

  • Base Salary Range: $66,600-$89,900. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base pay is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
