We're actively seeking a talented Senior Treasury Analyst to join our Corporate Treasury Cash Management in Newport Beach, CA. This role can be a hybrid (M/F: Remote; T/W/Th: Newport Beach Office) or 100% in the Newport Beach Office.

As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by managing the company's cash to position to ensure the accurate and timely movement of funds to meet the company's obligations. In addition, you will act as the liaison between financial institutions and internal division to resolve issues, maintain collaborative relationships and provide expertise and guidance on banking issues. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 7 people in the Corporate (Treasury) division. Your colleagues will include the Treasury Director, Treasury Manager and other Treasury Analysts along with Treasury Service personnel and Treasury System Support staff.

How you will make an impact:
* Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) of cash management activities (Wires, ACH's, controlled disbursements, tax payments, FX trades, cash positioning and pooling).

* Uses best practices and knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve cash management functions while minimizing risks and eliminating overdrafts

* Monitor and evaluate account analysis for alignment with our banking contracts

* Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct of cash management operations


The experience you will bring:
* 5+ years of Treasury experience
*Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related subject.

* Motivated, innovative thinker able to evaluate business processes for data driven insights and analysis, efficiency, change and effectiveness.

* In depth knowledge and expertise of banking functions and operations.

* The Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation by the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP).

* FIS Integrity and RedBridge Hawkeye experience

* Collaborative team member requiring minimal guidance

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$98,100.00 - $119,900.00
