A Day in Your Life at MKS:

We are looking for an exceptional Supply Chain Advanced Procurement Manager (SC APM) who can work with our strategic customers during new product introduction initiatives (NPI) managing the significant requirements from them regarding communication of NPI project execution. You will be part of a customer-centric SC Advanced Customer Engagement (ACE) team consisting of a SC NPI Project Manager, Supplier Quality Engineer and Sourcing Manager. You will serve as the single point of contact with strategic customers for all supply chain aspects of NPI projects. How you will achieve this:

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Engage early in the NPI development process with the customer and MKS account teams on all new product projects to ensure alignment on requirements and development of the right strategies.

  • Provide supply chain voice to the customer, managing the significant requirements from them regarding communication of project execution, performance and execution mitigation activities, problem resolution, documentation, approvals, deliverables, etc.

  • Act as the single point of contact for initial escalation point for the customer on NPI supply chain project execution aspects.

  • Coordinate as needed the activities of the dedicated customer SC Advanced Customer Engagement team to ensure alignment with customer expectations and requirements.

  • Work with SC ACE team respective SC functional managers on team goals, objectives, workload, performance, and required expectations aligned with customer needs.

  • Identify and request any additional resources across the supply chain or MKS business units to support critical NPI project customer expectations.

Skills that You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business; Master's or MBA preferred

  • 8+ years of Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Sourcing or Procurement experience, PMP certification a plus

  • Knowledge of sourcing for optical fabrication, opto-mechanical assemblies, or related experience with optical or photonic component solutions preferred

  • Experience and the aptitude to work closely with suppliers and customers, problem solving, and effectively communicating

  • Ability to articulate a comprehensive vision and project plan across functions

*This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule from home and in our Irvine CA site.

Compensation and Benefits: Salary Pay Range: 97,300.00 - 180,700.00 USD Annual per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
