Naval Tactical Wargaming Facilitator, Senior

The Opportunity:

As a Naval Tactical Wargaming Facilitator, you'll bring your full range of knowledge and experience in leadership, integration of shipboard combat systems, Naval Strike Group operational and tactical maritime warfare, and composite warfare concept command and control to work alongside thought leaders in consulting, analytics, and digital solutions to improve Aircraft Carrier Strike Group and Amphibious Ready Group tactical readiness. You'll use your skills and expertise to analyze problems, develop solutions, and work with Navy leaders using Live, Virtual, and Constructive training systems. Work with us to help prepare Navy surface forces, air wings, and staffs for deployment and success in their operational missions.

You Have:

  • 16+ years of experience with civilian wargaming or as a Naval Warfare tactical subject matter expert, including planning and executing real-world or simulated tactics and employment of units
  • Experience developing and executing complex multi-warfare training scenarios, and validating Warfare Commander Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) and Pre-Planned Response (PRR) execution as a Post-Department Head
  • Experience roleplaying Warfare Commanders and units, and providing real-time recommendations to adjust scenario events and timelines to achieve training objectives as a Post-Department Head
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as a Post-Department Head on a Fleet, Carrier Strike Group, Amphibious Ready Group, Warfare Commander staff, or equivalent
  • Experience in Information Operations or Naval Operational Law
  • Experience in Naval Aviation Training, including Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance or Rotary Wing
  • Knowledge of Navy tactical training systems, including the operation of Live, Virtual, and Constructive training
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree
  • Warfare or Weapons Tactics Instructor Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
