Primary Purpose and Essential Functions | University of the Pacific's Benerd College is seeking an Associate Director of Field Placements in the Department of Counseling & School Psychology. The Department of Counseling & School Psychology offers master's, educational specialist, doctoral, and credential programs at our Stockton Campus, and trains school psychologists, students seeking the LPCC license, students seeking the MFT license, and students seeking to become licensed psychologists. The Associate Director of Field Placements for Counseling & School Psychology will work with the Director of Field Placements in overseeing current placements, developing new placements, conducting site visits, ensuring measurement of candidate progress, and teaching courses associated with practicum and internship primarily for the program's clinical programs (i.e., LPCC, MFT, PsyD). As Lecturer (or Assistant Professor), this person will be responsible for teaching masters and doctoral level practicum and internship classes which meet weekly. Additionally, the candidate may be asked to teach other courses as needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of teaching, advising, research, leadership, service, and the ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders. The position will be based at the Stockton Campus. Duties: The Associate Director helps manage fieldwork, practicum, and internship placements for School Psychology, LPCC, MFT, and PsyD programs. Additionally, the Associate Director teaches associated courses. Specific Duties:
This colleague will hold the rank of lecturer or assistant professor of practice, depending on education and experience level. This is an 11-month non-tenure-track position. Hiring Range | $73,000-$87,000 per year. We consider factors such as, but not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's qualifications, internal equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. |
