The Lead Rad Tech is responsible for providing age specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. They will adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements, participate in Quality Control and Performance Improvement activities, and maintain their clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
The Lead Rad Tech also functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire radiology department. They will maintain all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times and are also responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in Radiology department.
This is a full-time position, (80 hours per pay period) varied night shift including call responsibilities and is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego located in the Hillcrest community.
