Join a winning team supporting Scripps Health as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within our Nuclear Medicine department. From performing bone scans to gallbladder studies, you will experience a wide variety of both inpatient and outpatient cases. The ideal candidate enjoys working collaboratively with their team, is focused on radiation safety, and is dedicated to providing excellent patient care.
The duties of the Nuclear Med Tech include:
* Responsible for providing age specific care, education, and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
* Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
* Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire radiology department.
* Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times.
This is a Casual (Per Diem) position, working 8-hour varied shifts, cover vacation, holiday, sick, and weekend rotation. Call is required and this position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas.
