DescriptionThe Department of Medicine is looking to hire a motivated Student 3 to write code and / or using existing code to extract datasets, conduct analyses, and prepare projects to be run through various analysis pipelines. This role will require extensive use of MATLAB, R, and Bash.
Hourly range: $17.00-$37.50
Qualifications
Required:
Ability to use a personal computer and basic computer applications.
Ability to pay close attention to detail and a habit of double-checking work.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Prior experience with Linux, and at least one programming language.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Reliable.
Registered as a UCLA student
Preferred:
Prior experience with code such as MATLAB, R, or Python.
Prior experience with Bash, MySQl or SSH.
