Job Overview

The Aerojet Rocketdyne segment's HR Center of Excellence has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and seasoned Compensation Analyst to work closely with the Human Resources team to drive and execute strategic compensation decisions, programs, policies, and practices to align to L3Harris Technologies' goals and competitive practices. This position will be remote.

Essential Functions
  • Project manage and lead annual salary and incentive planning processes such as HR and manager training, systems testing, data validation, communications, and detailed compensation analysis
  • Manage sales and business development incentive plans, from collaborating with leaders on quota setting to leading payout review and approval process
  • Partners and provides consultation to the HR team to conduct compensation analyses, inclusive of recommendations for new hires, internal promotions, counter offers and job evaluations, while reinforcing the company's overall compensation philosophy
  • Enhance effectiveness and improvements for Aerojet Rocketdyne Total Rewards processes
  • Oversee and lead rewards and recognition programs inclusive of service awards and spot awards
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and managers to conduct job analyses to ensure appropriate FLSA classification, job leveling, and job family assignments are made
  • Lead and manage special projects or initiatives with various team members and stakeholders within and outside of the Aerojet Rocketdyne HR team
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that support the business based on relevant data analysis
  • Ensures all compensation programs are in compliance with government standards and labor laws. Includes responsibility for internal and external compensation audits, including interface with OFCCP and legal as required.
Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of compensation, HR analytics, finance or relevant experience. Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; must be able to effectively use excel for reporting and data analysis (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, If statements, and advanced formulas).

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Master's degree and/or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Ability to manage large datasets to develop and drive effective and efficient solutions
  • Experience in managing complex projects with various team members and stakeholders
  • Analytical, mathematical skills, and financial acumen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and effective written communication
  • Capable of handling confidential information with sensitivity
  • Strong customer service, multi-tasking, analytical, and prioritization skills

Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.

Pay range for this position:
83,000 - 123,000 per year
