Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities: Provides technical support required to maintain U.S. Navy ship simulators and related training devices at LTF Mayport Florida.

Minimum requirements:
- IAT level 2 certification or higher.
- Shall acquire and maintain an active secret clearance (will consider applicants with clearance inactive less than 2 years).
- Minimum of (2) years training system, equipment or simulator maintenance experience on systems of comparable complexity.
- Shall have graduated from a two (2) year electronic technician resident course at an accredited technical institute or have completed the Navy's factory or formal training on a comparable system.
- Required to speak English, to lift 50lb, conduct work in various positions such as sitting, standing, bending, stooping, or working in an elevated condition
- Required to work eves/mids and work overtime & weekends on occasion.
- Requires a 2 Year Technical Degree in Electronics Technology or related field and/or related experience.
- Knowledge of office equipment and applications such as copier, personal computer and Microsoft Office.

Special Notes/Instructions
Knowledge of surface ship systems and ship operations applicable to ship simulation
Understanding of applicable technical standards for ship simulators and other training devices
Technical capabilities to include computer systems, networks, visual systems, I/O, PLC’s and hydraulics
