Company Overview

Sacramento Chinese Community Service Center was established in 1978 to aid newly arrived Chinese immigrants in dealing with the many challenges of immigration and cultural adaptation. Today, we strive to honor and preserve each person’s culture of origin. In the last two decades, we have expanded our programs to assist non-Chinese immigrants, refugees, and other disadvantaged groups within the Sacramento area, serving more than 7,000 multicultural clients daily. Through our alliance with Sacramento City Unified School District, Elk Grove Unified School District, Twin Rivers Unified School District, and Natomas Unified School District, we currently manage out-of-school time partnerships with over 65 schools that provide social services, employment training, health education, and youth programming in Sacramento. The Center is recognized for our efforts in promoting effective educational performance, enhancing students achievement, and a strong community involvement. The Center offers a variety of social services and summer programming to the local area.
