Dr. Bookheimer’s lab is looking for a student assistant to provide assistance on the ABCD study. Duties include:
- Assist in participant recruitment (screening, scheduling, and other participant outreach)
- Data collection (administering questionnaires, semi-structural interviews, neurocognitive ipad games and computer games, biospecimen) in-person and remotely via Zoom
- Assist in MRI scanning (second scanner) at the Brain Mapping Center and Staglin scanning locations.
- Re-stock supplies in testing areas as instructed and other clerical tasks
- Attend weekly lab meetings.
- File study data as instructed.
Must be a current UCLA Student, comfortable running a 3-6 hour protocol, assisting in screening, scheduling, participant outreach, and other general clerical lab tasks. This position will require remote and in-person duties. This position will require weekend and afterhours availability.
Pay Range: $17.00 – $37.50 hourly.
- Must be a current UCLA Student.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Calendar, Internet, Mac OS
- Proficient writing and editing skills.
- Be highly organized and reliable.
- Ability to prioritize work; communication skills to speak clearly and distinctly.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment; maintain positive working relationships with staff and faculty; ability to work independently.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
- Communicate clearly in e-mail.
- Communicate clearly orally for telephone calls, presentations and community activities.
