BAI, a Defense contractor, is seeking a Software Engineer who will be responsible for the detailed design, implementation and testing of subsystems and system componentswith 3+ years of experience for a U.S. Navy program to work onsite at Point Mugu Naval Air Station in Camarillo, CA. Salary
The typical annual salary range for this position is $120,000.00 USD to $160,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.
Qualifications: Knowledge / Experience
This is a Journeyman level labor category that requires 3+ years of software development experience and a BA or BS degree. A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently.
Experience working with C#, Visual Basic, or selected programming languages under Windows operating, mobile or Web/Services.
Strong understanding and practical experience with common design patterns.
Understanding of secure application programming practices and vulnerabilities.
Ability to write clear, concise documentation.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field.
All degrees shall be obtained from an “accredited college or university” as recognized and approved by the U.S. Department of Education Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs as of award date. This includes Associates, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degrees.
Clearance:
Condition of employment – The applicant must have and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Citizenship:
The applicant must have US citizenship at time of application.
