As an Accountant on our Robinson Fresh team you will be responsible for payments to our growers and ensure accuracy in both our financials and payables. This role demands effective communication skills, a strong attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approach to tackle roadblocks and ensure operational excellence and a commitment to best practice. We are looking to add a dynamic person to our team who can manage multiple accounts and ability to think independently. This person will have a unique opportunity to work with a variety of individuals from Growers, Sales Executives and Leadership Teams.

This position can be located in Eden Prairie MN or McAllen TX

Responsibilities:

• Prepare pre-contract profitability analysis for each grower to determine suitability of potential growers.
• Set-up and track grower in the accounting system to track appropriate revenue and expenses for the season/contract.
• Receive grower's expense documentation, analyze against contracts, record and request payment per contract terms.
• Prepare weekly progress reports, analyze risk and communicate status to grower and internal staff.
• Create post season analysis reports and provide supporting document to the grower for each season/contract.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or continued education in Finance/Accounting
• 1+ years accounting and analysis experience
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
